How To Mass Delete Over 14k Pictures

Do you find yourself drowning in a sea of photos on your Apple device, with over 14k pictures taking up valuable storage space? Fret not, as we've got you covered with a simple guide on how to efficiently mass delete those excess pictures, freeing up space for more precious memories.

First things first, head over to your Photos app on your Apple device. Once you're in the app, tap on the "Photos" tab at the bottom of the screen, where you'll be able to see all your pictures organized by date.

Next, tap on "Select" at the top right corner of the screen. This allows you to select multiple pictures at once for deletion. You can either individually tap on each picture you want to delete, or swipe your finger across a row of pictures to quickly select a bunch of them.

After you've selected all the pictures you want to delete, look for the trash can icon at the bottom right corner of the screen. Tap on it, and you'll be prompted to confirm that you want to delete the selected pictures. Confirm the deletion, and voilà, those pictures are now moved to your "Recently Deleted" album.

To permanently get rid of these pictures and free up the storage space they were occupying, head over to the "Recently Deleted" album. Here, you'll see all the pictures you recently deleted. Tap on "Select" at the top right corner of the screen, choose the option to "Delete All," and confirm the deletion. This will permanently remove these pictures from your device.

It's important to note that pictures in the "Recently Deleted" album are automatically removed after 30 days. However, if you want to free up storage space immediately, make sure to go through this additional step to permanently delete them.

In case you're worried about accidentally deleting important pictures, fret not. Apple provides an additional layer of safety by keeping deleted pictures in the "Recently Deleted" album for a limited period, giving you the chance to recover them in case of any mishaps.

By following these simple steps, you can swiftly and effectively mass delete over 14k pictures on your Apple device, decluttering your photo library and reclaiming valuable storage space. So, go ahead, give it a try, and enjoy the newfound space for capturing more priceless moments!
